Artist Statement
Feeling dissatisfied with life, I thought to myself, you didn’t study art to sit behind a desk and push paper!
I was angry. Angry at myself. Angry knowing that as a woman I would always be judged by my appearance. Angry at the suppression of women.
What began as a study of “Angry Women” soon developed into “Nasty Women”. Challenging, bold, strong, courageous, empowered women!
