Artist Statement

Kaiden Dunn is a queer mixed media artist. The majority of his art revolves around scanner art pieces, where he uses a scanner bed, fake flowers, paint, and other textile materials to create intricate pieces. Inspired by life experiences and the need to tell a story, he often creates huge pieces that have multiple levels and layers to them. As an artist with Synesthesia, he chooses color palettes based off of how he is feeling, what music he is listening to while creating artwork, and how he wants the all around feel of each piece to have.
